Bematech is First to Offer Online General Meetings

(Bovespa: BEMA3), leader in the Brazilian commercial automation segment ("Bematech" or "Company"), announced today that its shareholders will be able to vote through the internet in the company‘s general meetings. Bematech, winner of the IBGC Award of Corporate Governance for two consecutive years, is the first company to join the Online General Meetings ("Assembleias Online") system, encouraging a higher level of participation from its shareholders, in a fast, safe and convenient environment.

In order to vote in future general meetings, Bematech shareholders will only need register at the website www.assembleiasonline.com.br. This process is free of charge and also includes the issuance of a private digital certificate.

The decision to adopt the Online General Meetings system encourages and facilitates participation in the company‘s general meetings through the internet, in a fast and safe format, and confirms Bematech‘s commitment to all of its shareholders: transparency and best practices in corporate governance.
